Acute Care

Chiropractic Acute Care

In this phase of care, we will concentrate on releiving you of your pain. Your injury is still painful and obstructing you from work, family and personal obligations. I will concentrate on reducing the pain with the adjustment and office modalities. I will show you the best way to sit, lie down and sleep. As with any acute injury, I will stress the importance of using ice to decrease the inflamation.

Corrective Care

Chiropractic Corrective Care

During corrective care, you are pain free or close to it. Adjustments are still being rendered but my positioning and force per adjustment may differ because your body is no longer guarding or in spasm. I will show you either stretches, exercises or both specific to your injury. At this point in treatment, the goal is to continue the healing process by strengthening the area of injury to prevent further injuries.

Maintenance care

Chiropractic Maintenance care

You are no longer in pain and I will educate you on the importance of a healthy, properly moving spine. You have been stretching and exercising and you feel 100% better. The goal is to keep you feeling better. Depending on your job, hobbies and type of lifestyle, it is important to get adjusted once every month or so to keep proper alignment which will promote proper biomechanics to the spine, preventing injuries from occurring in the future.
